I am blessed to have so many nice clients whom are very thorough when it comes to choosing the right Virginia Beach real estate for purchase.
Why? Women are much more focused, they research on REALTOR®.COM or the local MLS, consider their "wants and needs", where men seem to be less demanding, more accommodating (may not have a choice), and quite frankly sometimes just want the Virginia Beach or Hampton Roads real estate search to be done. Men like to crunch numbers for financing, avoid buyer mistakes, and sort out how much work they are committing to. Check out the Top 10 Women desired items with their Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads real estate purchase: 1. Tile, ceramic, slate in kitchens, foyers, laundry area, and less carpet. 2. Stainless steel or other upgraded appliances. Solid surface countertops, whether granite, quartz, marble, tile, or even cement. 3. Fixtures which include both lighting and plumbing that are different from the norm. 4. Tiled shower and bath areas, possibly walk in showers. 5. Single pedestal sinks vice the common "stock" sink and cabinet. 6. Functional laundry area with folding area and deep sink. Upstairs if possible. 7. Four or more bedrooms and garage. 8. Natural light throughout home and less boxy. More openness. 9. Low maintenance and cleaning both inside and outside. 10. Security (low crime), normal neighbors, good schools, and of course good shopping nearby. However, the statistics show and I agree that women dominate
the scene when it comes to decisions on what they want in the home and purchasing Virginia Beach real estate.
They simply are more real estate engaged.
No wonder some facts show that women make 90% of decisions when buying
real estate.
