I have mentioned both organizations are very good and I belong to each. Now it appears that Navy Federal may have done away with their 100% financing programs plus limit any jumbo purchases. You can still do better with your real estate purchase and receive spectacular customer service. Also, NFCU and USAA may not have the best mortgage products. You should conduct due diligence and shop your loan when financing a large Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, or Hampton Roads real estate purchase. This is now more important with buyers using 100% mortgage products such as VA. For those of you deciding to use NFCU or USAA you can still benefit from my "hybrid product".
