This post should really be titled: "Confessions of a School Teacher and How to Survive By Making Big Money Part-time in Real Estate. " It goes without saying that I am always promoting my E-book on how YOU can make big profits in real estate 1 Hour per month with no financial downside. I still remain absolutely convinced that tens of thousands of home, condo, and real estate owners in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and across the United States are "giving thousands of dollars away" and do not know it. If they would just follow my simple process outlined in the E-book their financial situation would improve. It is not a quick get rich scheme but rather legal and really just changing the way you think about real estate.
Read Bill's story below:
"Seems like I am always broke? I do not have any discretionary income after applying my public school teacher salary to my mortgage, car payment, and other necessities. I work part-time at the Virginia Beach oceanfront during the summer to have spending money. I am not poor, but financially struggling as a home owner. Dennis continually mentioned that I was losing potentially thousands of dollars annually because I was too lazy to take the 60 hours online or classroom real estate course, a requirement to get my Virginia license. This meant giving up evenings for a month and missing my favorite TV shows. I have no desire to be a full time REALTOR®, but Dennis kept kicking me to obtain the real estate license and just be a referral agent - something I was clueless about. The major point being that once I was licensed and in Referral status I could legally and monetarily benefit from referral commissions. What does that mean? Well I would get a portion of Dennis' commission from the home sales referred to him. Seemed good to me, plus Dennis was going to pay for my real estate course. Fast Forward a year later: Through my contacts and friends, I have referred two people who bought homes. Since I am legal now in the real estate world, I collected referral fees totally just about $3300.00 dollars - not bad for about one hour's work (work means just talking to people - not allowed to show homes or do any paperwork.) Dennis the professional REALTOR® must do all that, but I get paid. I like this plan. I am not sure what took me so long to figure this concept out. Dennis kept telling me that everyone should obtain their Real Estate license just to be educated about home ownership, laws, etc. I think it was fear, laziness, or skepticism about the whole thing. Probably more about laziness. I am now thinking that maybe Real Estate will be my second career later in life after I develop all these referrals. Plus I will save thousands when I personally sell or buy property. I do know this, if I can be a real estate referral agent, anyone can. The referrals I generate just fall in your lap. You, like me, know about people moving in the area, talking to your friends, etc. I am sure many other people will jump on this great real estate referral program. It just makes sense. I, like many, was already doing real estate referrals but just not getting paid. I should have done this sooner."
